Does that sound like a name for a Donut Shop? Actually, Glam Doll sounds like it could be… oh, use your imagination! And I didn’t see any cops in there so is it really a donut shop? Seriously, the donuts are very good, or maybe I should say Excellent! Of course, it’s a great day for The Driveby Tourist to “sin” on the diet. In any event, Glam Doll Donuts Minneapolis is a really great place. And here is a link.

Glam Doll Donuts Minneapolis

Glam Doll came to Eat Street six years ago. In this case, one would think the name sprung from some exotic event or place.
Did you know that blogs are typically reader supported? So, buy me a hot chocolate! Or not!.
Apparently, Glam Doll came from a brainstorming session of the founders. In addition to the store, Glam Doll caters for meetings, weddings, family reunions, and many other events. Again, much of the in-store traffic comes from the local area and with Eat Street visitors from outside the Twin Cities also making up some of the clientele.
The “line up” of donuts does change seasonally but mostly, they have the same selection each day. In addition to donuts, Glam Doll has coffee, espresso, tea and then soft drinks in a refrigerator.

And another shot of more donuts at Glam Doll. Overall, this picture and the one above constitute my dessert for the week.
Want to see a shop for my road trip photos? You can have them printed as wall art or puzzles. They also work on coffee mugs, t-shirts and more! So, take a look. Maybe you'll see something you will like!
Glam Doll Donuts Summary
Glam Doll makes it my third stop this day on the food tour of Eat Street. Here is a link to the lead-off post. Certainly, I hope you can make this a stop on your tour as well. Of course, you would need to eat here many days (and at least two meals a day) to hit all of them.
And an introductory post on Everything Twin Cities.
Classic Rock Recollection
“Every Breath You Take” by The Police
Since you’ve gone I’ve been lost without a trace.
I dream at night I can only see your face.
I look around but it’s you I can’t replace.
I feel so cold and I long for your embrace.
I keep crying baby, baby please.
Oh can’t you see
You belong to me?
How my poor heart aches
With every step you take.
See, I told you it would be hard to find Classic Rock lyrics that fit every post!
So, does this fit Glam Doll?
Don’t policemen hang out in donut shops???
Doughnuts are one of my weak spots – these make me want to take a trip to Minneapolis to indulge myself!
